The 1st World Chinese Writing Competition, co-organised by Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao (Middle School Students' Study Paper) and the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange (GACEE), and co-sponsored by Henan Youth Press, iFLYTEK, and Jinan University Press, was jointly organised and adjudicated by Kuai Le Shao Nian Bao (Happy Teenagers’ Paper), the Chinese Language Editorial Department of Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao, and the Sanyue Wenzhai (Three-Month Digest) Editorial Department. After three rounds of rigorous and meticulous evaluation, the third batch of Outstanding Awards has been announced!

The list is now at your fingertips! Please follow the WeChat official account ‘Xue Xi Bang’ (Study Rankings) or visit the official website of Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao (https://www.zxsxxb.com/) to check your award status instantly.

Due to tight deadlines and heavy workloads, many submissions remain under final review by judges. The winners of other awards will be announced shortly—please stay tuned. All results will be published promptly on our WeChat account and website.

This competition has inspired over 5,000 students from more than 80 schools across nearly 30 countries on five continents. With their pens, they have sketched dreams and built bridges through words. Primary-school entries on the theme ‘Introducing My Chinese Name’ brim with childlike innocence and sincerity; junior secondary entries on ‘Three Keywords Describing China’ present a multidimensional, vivid image of China; senior secondary entries on ‘Ten Years from Now’ envision future possibilities with rich imagination… Each piece reflects a vibrant collision of youth and culture, shining brightly in the global landscape of Chinese writing—and powerfully demonstrates today’s young people’s critical thinking, wisdom and sense of responsibility.

Finally, please note: all Outstanding Award winners are eligible to attend the ‘1st World Chinese Writing Competition Award Ceremony and Chinese Civilisation Study Tour’. This is not only a hall of honour but also a celebratory gathering for the world’s top young Chinese writers. Places are limited and highly sought-after. The deadline for registration by third-batch Outstanding Award winners is 22:00 Beijing Time on 20 June 2025. For details, contact Ms Li (tel./WeChat: 13526898172).
