On 23 April 2026 at 3 p.m., the "Reading Nourishes the Heart, I Serve a Strong China" national reading campaign will be held at Shaolin Friendship School in Dengfeng City. Organised by Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao (Middle School Students' Study Paper) and the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange (GACEE), hosted by Shaolin Friendship School, and co-supported by Dengfeng Xinhua Bookstore, the event features an integrated approach of "reading + martial arts + classics + education", combining scholarly culture with Shaolin spirit. Activities include public classic lessons, a five-continent overseas Chinese school joint reading of *The Great Learning*, in-depth expert commentary on Confucian classics, a recitation-and-martial-arts performance of "A Young China", book donations, and the unveiling of designated reading bases. The event will be live-streamed globally to promote fine traditional Chinese culture, nurture young people’s sense of national responsibility and global perspective through literature and martial arts, and bring Chinese classics to the world!
