GACEE Enables UNY-Korea National University of Education Cross-Border Collaboration

On 3 November 2026, a delegation from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), Indonesia, visited Korea National University of Education, South Korea, under the facilitation of the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange (GACEE), to hold exchange activities. The two institutions discussed international education cooperation, academic exchange, talent development, and student mobility.

I. Building an International Exchange Platform to Promote In-Depth Institutional Dialogue

During the visit, both sides introduced their respective institutional developments and international cooperation priorities, and explored potential areas for future collaboration. This visit enhanced mutual understanding and created favourable conditions for further expanding inter-university exchanges and cooperation.

II. Focusing on Educational Cooperation to Explore Diverse Collaborative Pathways

The parties exchanged views on joint research, faculty exchanges, guest lectures, student exchange programmes, short-term study visits, scholarships, and co-taught courses, exploring multi-level, multi-format cooperation to promote academic resource sharing and talent development.

III. Leveraging GACEE’s Bridging Role to Expand International Cooperation Networks

This exchange represents a concrete initiative by GACEE to actively advance cross-border university collaboration and foster connectivity among international educational resources. By integrating global educational resources and connecting universities and educational institutions across countries, GACEE provides a platform for institutions to establish links and expand cooperative channels.

Moving forward, GACEE will continue to serve as an organising and bridging platform for international educational exchange, facilitating collaboration among universities in more countries and regions, promoting resource sharing, faculty–student mobility, and multicultural exchange, and continuously expanding the global network of international education cooperation.
