This notice explains how the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange ("GACEE", "we") handles personal data on gacee.org, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.
What we collect: information you give us when you register for an event, submit a competition entry, subscribe to updates or contact us, such as your name, organisation, email address and, for competitions, a participant's age group and school. We collect only what a programme needs.
Children: entries and registrations for participants under 18 require the consent of a parent or guardian, including for any publication of a participant's work or image.
How we use it: to run the programme you asked about, to communicate with you about it, and, with your consent, to send occasional updates. We do not sell personal data.
Where it is kept: core data is stored in Singapore. Where a programme involves partners in other countries, we tell you at the point of collection.
Your rights: you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to info@gacee.org. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at the same address.
