Become a GACEE member
The Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange welcomes schools, educational and cultural institutions and educators from around the world. Applications are approved by the secretariat and membership runs for the calendar year. Members receive a membership number, a verifiable membership certificate and member benefits through the Association's digital portal.
What membership means
Join the Association's network
Connect with schools, universities, cultural and publishing institutions and technology companies in many countries, and take part in the Association's competitions, forums, study tours and public-good programmes.
Use the Association's resources
List teachers, courses and study bases on the Resource Square of the digital portal, view contact details and request matches.
Publicly verifiable status
Every member has a unique membership number and a membership certificate that can be verified by scanning. Member institutions that agree to show their level carry a member badge in the partner directory on this website.
Membership categories
Institutional members
Chinese-language and other schools, educational and cultural institutions, publishers, media and technology companies, applied for by the head or an authorised representative. Institutions can grant member seats to their serving principals, teachers and staff, who then share member benefits.
Individual members
Principals, teachers, scholars and experts applying in their own name.
Honorary members
Conferred by invitation of the Association, including honorary members and advisers. No application is needed.
Levels of institutional membership

The level is set by the secretariat on approval. The conditions and obligations of each level are governed by the Association's constitution.

Member benefits will be published on this page once approved by the Association.
How to join
- 1Register and sign in
Create an account on the Association's digital portal and sign in.
- 2Apply
Under My membership, enter your institution's or your own details and confirm that you will abide by the Association's constitution.
- 3Secretariat review
You will be notified of the result by email. The secretariat may contact you for further information.
- 4Membership active
A membership number is assigned; the membership certificate can be verified by scanning once it has been reviewed and issued.
- 5Annual renewal
Membership runs to 31 December. The secretariat handles renewals and your membership number stays the same.
Term and fees
Membership follows the calendar year and ends on 31 December (Singapore time). Applications approved in the fourth quarter may, with the secretariat's confirmation, count towards the following year.
Membership fees will be announced separately by the Association.
