Global 100 Principals China Tour Launched

The Global 100 Principals China Tour, organized by the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange, is an annual flagship initiative promoting mutual learning and school-level cooperation in basic education. The inaugural edition took place in Henan Province from March 27 to April 2, 2025, bringing together over 100 principals from more than 20 countries across five continents. The first three editions were all held in Henan, collectively inviting 180 principals from 34 countries. Site selection for the fourth edition is underway, with Anhui Province or the Hangzhou–Shaoxing region under consideration.

Three editions have been held in Henan Province, welcoming 180 principals from 34 countries. Each edition combines education forums, visits to Chinese schools, exchanges between principals and immersive experiences of Chinese culture and heritage.

The fourth edition will extend the programme beyond Henan, with Anhui and the Hangzhou–Shaoxing region under consideration. It moves from cultural visits towards deeper education exchange, technology and future-of-learning themes, and concrete school-to-school cooperation: student visits, shared curricula and long-term partnerships.

Our principle is one region per edition, one culture per place, and one lasting connection per exchange.
