Second batch of Outstanding Awards announced for the 1st World Chinese Writing Competition

ColumnsWorld Chinese Composition Competition

The 1st World Chinese Writing Competition, jointly organised by Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao (Middle School Students' Study Paper) and the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange (GACEE), with co-sponsorship from Henan Youth Press, iFLYTEK, and Jinan University Press, and co-hosted and adjudicated by Kuai Le Shao Nian Bao (Happy Youngsters Paper), the Chinese Language Editorial Department of Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao, and the Sanyue Wenzhai (Three-Month Digest) Editorial Department, has completed three rounds of rigorous and meticulous judging — announcing the second batch of Outstanding Awards!

The list is now at your fingertips! Follow the WeChat official account "Xue Xi Bang" (Study Rankings) or visit the official website of Zhongxuesheng Xuexi Bao (https://www.zxsxxb.com/) to check instantly whether you have won this honour.

Due to tight deadlines and heavy workloads, many submissions remain under final review by judges. The winners of other award categories will be announced in due course. All results will be published promptly on the WeChat account and official website.

This competition has inspired over 5,000 students from nearly 30 countries across five continents and more than 80 schools. With their pens, they painted dreams and built bridges through words. Primary-school entries on the theme "Introducing My Chinese Name" brimmed with childlike innocence and sincerity; junior secondary entries on "Three Keywords Describing China" presented a multidimensional, vivid image of China; senior secondary entries on "Ten Years from Now" imagined future blueprints with rich creativity… Each piece reflects a vibrant collision between youth and culture, and shines as a distinctive facet of global Chinese-language writing — fully demonstrating today’s young people’s critical thinking, wisdom and sense of responsibility.

Finally, please note: all Outstanding Award winners are eligible to attend the "1st World Chinese Writing Competition Award Ceremony and Chinese Civilisation Study Tour" — not only a hall of honour but also a celebratory gathering for the world’s top Chinese-language writers. Places are limited. The deadline for registration by the second batch of Outstanding Award winners for both the ceremony and study tour is 22:00 Beijing Time on 18 June 2025.
