The second World Chinese Composition Competition is open, themed "Chinese connects the world: my cultural journey".
What to write about
Culture, Chinese characters, AI, the future and growing up are the core prompts. Students overseas are encouraged to share, in Chinese, what they observe about culture and their own times.
Who can enter
Primary, lower-secondary and upper-secondary students worldwide.
Recognition
Outstanding works will be published in an anthology, and outstanding students will receive a study trip to China and learning resources.
From expression to journey
The first edition reached more than eighty schools in over thirty countries on five continents, with more than five thousand students taking part. The second edition links writing in Chinese with study in China.
