World Chinese Composition Competition Updates
The World Chinese Composition Competition is co-organized by the Global Association of Cultural and Educational Exchange and the Middle School Students’ Study Newspaper. The inaugural edition was held in 2025, engaging over 5,000 students from more than 30 countries and 80 schools. The second edition launched in September 2025 under the theme “Chinese Connecting the World — My Cultural Journey.” In August 2026, the International Study Camp of the second edition opened in Beijing; in September 2026, the Study Carnival of the second edition was held; on April 7, 2026, the organizing bodies held an overseas Chinese education seminar in Zhengzhou to discuss topics including upgrading the competition, innovation in international study practices, improvement of Chinese language teaching, intangible cultural heritage transmission, and international dissemination of fine traditional Chinese cul
